Bone Tipped & Banded Powder Horns

509

Description

Most people who like muzzleloaders also like powder horns, which are works of art in their own right. The Honorable Company of Horners, as art of its goal to educate its members and the public about the history of powder horns, has published a book by Jay Hopkins called, "Bone Tipped & Banded Horns."

This book is based on Mr. Hopkins' theory that horns can be identified, based on the characteristics, by their geographic region of origin. The 385 page book is lavishly illustrated with hundreds of full color photographs of historic powder horns.
